Acle Upset Horsford

Schoolhouse continue to lead the way at the top of the Prem with their 8th victory in 9 games after a convincing 5-1 win over Phoenix, Timmy Henery, Jack Hurrell, Jack Robinson, Connor Simpson and Harry Maddison all scoring. The battle for 2nd is well and truly on after Acle travelled to Horsford and picked up a 1-0 win. Farmhouse won their 2nd game on the bounce with a 2-1 away win at Middle Green and Aslacton and Mischief played shared 4 goals in their 2-2 draw, Mischief scoring a last minute equaliser.


In Div 1 there were 10 goals shared in the game between Marlborough and Vale Longo, Marlborough going ahead 5 times and Vale equalising 5 times through Aaron Saddleton 2, Scott Bishop, Callum Sutch and Fraser Reeves.  AFC Norwich are now 10 from 10 after beating 3rd placed Norman Wanderers 2-1 thanks to goals from Jordan Crane and Harry Blossom. After 5 draws in 9 games DCS Rapid finally won their first game of the season beating Hethersett 2-1. MC Rovers scored 4 without reply against Windmill and FC Viking came away from Bungay with a 5-2 win, Jonny Billing, Paul Duarte, Luke Miles, Sean Ray and Harry Shawyer scoring.


Looking at the Div 2 table, it looked an easy win on paper for top of the table Easton against Hethersett reserves but they were made to sweat in their 3-2 victory which makes it 8 win from 8 games. With 2nd placed Aylsham out of action, Eaton Beehive closed the game 2 points, beating AG Athletic 5-1, Tyrone Sparrow 2, Luke Tyler, Conor Durrant and Lewis Ellis. East Tuddenham travelled to Acle and were unfortunate not to get a point, going down 2-1, Nathaniel Mayling scoring both for Acle. The game between Newsman Celtic and Barracks saw 4 goals, in a 2-2 draw, Noah Downes and Daniel Holmes for Newsman and Thomas Steadman and Sam goldsmith for Barracks.


Moose Park Rangers lead Div 3 but could only manage a 4-4 draw against Cringleford who had James Bailey,
Thomas Blyth, Blue Clarke and Liam Hannant to thank for their goals. William IV returned to winning ways and closed the gap at the top of the table to 4 points with a 3-1 win at home to Eaton Park Corinthians, Thomas Blanch, Jack Mason and Craig Page. Old Catton scored 6 (Jack Nunn 2, Aiden Wickham 2, Charlie Peberday and Tyler Rolfe) without reply against Cellar House and goals from Nick Clark 2, Ryan Paul and Liam Humphrey gave Sporting Rackheath a 4-0 win again FC Viking Reserves.


It was 2nd against 3rd in Div 4 as Tavern Old Boys hosted Yelverton but the neither side could find a winner as they played out a 2-2 draw, Simon Curtis with 2 goals for Yelverton. That meant Marriott were able to stretch their lead at the top of table to 5 points after a 7-0 away win against bottom placed Salhouse. Freethorpe leapfrogged Felthorpe after the 2 sides met, Freethorpe winning 5-0, Benjamin Cooper scoring a hattrick, Aaron Cooper and Bevan Mills. The battle of Sprowston saw 2nd bottom Rovers beat Until 5-0, Cole Davison with 3, Harrison Casey and Ethan Bellenger. Goals from
