With only a handful of games played this weekend, focus was on the Division 2 game at Sloughbottom where leaders AFC Norwich took on Acle Rangers Res looking for the victory required to keep main challengers Silver Fox at arms length. AFC took the lead early in the first half and later increased the lead. Acle though were no pushover and a tremendous 35 yard strike from Ben Cooper put them back in the game. Acle then preceded to give the home side another scare when another long range effort came back off the post, but the home side finally claimed the three points when a free kick from the right evaded everyone in the penalty area and bounced into the roof of the net. AFC face Silver Fox this weekend in what will be a title shoot out. In the divisions other games, FC Viking completed a good season by beating Newsman Celtic 8-2 and Hempnall were 3-1 winners over DCS Rapid.

In the Premier Division, The Middle Green completed their season going down 3-2 at home to Acle Rangers. TMG though should be pleased with their progress during the season after a slow start to their first season in the top flight.

In Division 1 Woolpack were presented with the league trophy after their 5-3 win over Norman Wanderers and there is no doubt they will be up for the challenge of Premier Division football next season.

Division 4 fixtures were completed as runners up Earsham Sunday finished an excellent first season by beating an improving Felthorpe side 5-2.
