Aslacton Stall Acle

With the top 3 Prem teams out of action Acle had the chance to close the gap. All was looking good after goals from Elliot Atlay and Sam Ellis saw them be 2-1 up with 20 minutes to go and Aslacton down to 10 men due to injuries. However, an equaliser came, and they held on for an excellent 2-2 draw. The only other game in the division saw Middle Green travel to Poringland and it was the away side that took the 3 points, winning 3-1.

Top of Div 1, AFC Norwich were also out of action and Silver Fox took advantage to close the gap to 3 points with a game in hand after beating Marlborough 5-2. Both Silver Fox and AFC Norwich have 100% records, 9 from 9 and 10 from 10 respectively. FC Viking leapfrogged Marlborough into 4th position with tight 2-1 win against DCS Rapid, Daniel Stobbart and Jack Delome scoring. In the clash of the bottom 2, there were 9 goals scored with Windmill coming out on top against Hethersett, winning 6-3. Vale Longo managed to throw a 2 goal lead away to draw 2-2 with MC Rovers.

Acle, upset in the Prem, were the upsetters (not a word), in Div 2, with their Reserve side travelling to previously unbeaten Easton and getting the win, 3-2, Matthew Fulcher, Benjamin King and Nathaniel Mayling scoring. That defeat leaves Easton 4 points (but 3 games in hand) behind top of the table Aylsham who goals from Stuart Boam 2, Jake Bonner, Thomas Coe and Carl Lawrence, in their 5-1 win over Norman Wanderers A. Eaton remain in 3rd place scoring the odd goal in 5 to beat Barracks, 3-2. After beating a Div 1 team last week, AG Athletic were bought back down to earth with a  bump losing 2-1 against Hethersett Reserves.

Moose Park Rangers are now 4 points clear at the top of Div 3 after a 3-1 win at home to Eaton Park Corinthians. 3rd played 4th as Earsham played Long Stratton and it was 4th placed Earsham who ran out 5-2 winners. Sporting Rackheath scored 3 without reply against Cringleford and FC Viking Reserves are still looking for their first point of the season after going down 5-1 at home to Cellar House.

Marriott still lead the way in Div 4 with a 2-0 win against Sprowston United. Yelverton are hot on their heels after Thomas Knight and Joseph Main scored 4 each and a further 2 goals from Steffan Bassett saw them record a 10-1 win over Sprowston Rovers. Freethorpe moved up to 3rd in the table with a 4-2 win over Wensum Helles, Kieran Hunt 2, Arthur Gjuka and Genti Haxhiu scoring.
