Sunday morning weather more akin to November than September greeted players when they took the field this weekend as it was back to league action following the County Cup. CUP DRAMA AS BARRACKS WIN SHOOT OUT

This week saw the first round of the County Cup competitions take place with many of our teams receiving byes, there was also healthy league program. In the Senior Cup, The Middle Green set off on the trail to Carrow Rd with a narrow 3-2 (Jonathon Bailey, Sam Brookes, Dom Doggett) win at Norman Wanderers, whilst Horsford FC won by the same score at Sprowston Wanderers, with Yip Chong, Callum Cooper and Ashley Dearing scoring.

HEWETT GET OFF TO FLYING START

The 2018/19 season of the Evening News & Macron Sports Norwich Sunday League got underway this weekend and produced some interesting results. LEAGUE ANNOUNCES NEW SPONSOR

The League’s 2018 AGM has taken place and in his Annual Report, League Secretary Ben Casey said he was delighted to announce that Macron Sports Norwich will join the Evening News as joint sponsors of the League.
