AFC WIN TO SET UP TITLE SHOWDOWN

With only a handful of games played this weekend, focus was on the Division 2 game at Sloughbottom where leaders AFC Norwich took on Acle Rangers Res looking for the victory required to keep main challengers Silver Fox at arms length. AFC took the lead early in the first half and later increased the lead. Acle though were no pushover and a tremendous 35 yard strike from Ben Cooper put them back in the game.

FOXES HIT SEVEN TO STAY IN THE HUNT

As the season heads to a finish, the main focus was on results in Division 2 this weekend. Silver Fox bounced back from last week’s defeat at the hands of AFC Norwich by putting seven without reply passed Norman Wanderers A. OLD RIVALS SET TO MEET IN FINAL SHOWDOWN

Riverside Rovers and Acle Rangers are set to meet in the League Cup Final on Friday May 10th at The FDC after both sides won their respective semi finals on a miserable wet morning this weekend. ROVERS COMEBACK TO GET ONE HAND ON THE TITLE

ROCASTLE TREBLE KEEPS ROVERS IN THE HUNT

LATE LATE SHOW AS FOXES LIFT THE TROPHY

A Craig Boyles goal in the last minute of extra time in the Sunday Junior Cup Final gave Silver Fox a deserved victory over a Watton United side that had previously boasted a 100% record this season. LEADERS FALL TO RIVERSIDE

The top two in the Premier Division met this weekend when Schoolhouse travelled to Riverside Rovers looking to extend their lead at the top, but it was the home side that took all three points with a 2-0 victory.
