WYMONDHAM HIT BACK TO SHOCK AFC 
 

Wymondham Rangers, scored twice in the last five minutes as they came from behind to beat AFC Wanderers 3-2 at Eaton Park. They are now level on points with leaders The Grove, who were without a fixture. Third placed Silver Fox were held to a goal less draw at Norman Wanderers, whilst a 4-3 home win over Poringland saw Quebec move to fourth. Marlborough beat Acle Rangers 4-0, and the basement battle between Dog House and Salhouse Rovers ended in a five goal victory for the home side.

1A leaders Norman Wanderers Res thumped Norwich Ceyms 9-2, but Norwich Busmen are still hot on their heels after winning 5-1 at Unthank Arms. North Walsham had a narrow 3-2 win over Hainford YCOB, whilst Windmill Wanderers won 2-0 at Hellesdon Athletic. Aylsham Sunday are the new leaders of 1B after a 10-1 win at Hillside OB. They replaced previous leaders Unicorns who were blown away by Costessey's whirlwind start and eventually lost 7-2. Earlham Utd were 2-0 down in four minutes at Prince of Denmark, but stormed back to win 7-2. Childerhouse 2, West 2, Bee, Allen and Delaney on target. Sprowston Wanderers had a good 4-3 home win over Norfolk CCSC and Haig FC went  back to North Norfolk very happy after scoring eight without reply at Mattishall YCOB.

2A leaders Green Man had a 2-0 home win over Deopham and are now three points clear of Norman Wanderers "A" who went down to Reepham Town for the second week running, this time losing 4-1. Lloyd Miller and Shaun Moss, both helped themselves to a hat trick as Aslacton beat Coachmakers Arms 8-1, whilst Vale Longo won 2-1 at The Griffen. The Castlegate also had a 2-1 away win at Plasterers Arms. Game of the day in 2B saw Old Catton beat St Faiths 5-2, whilst second placed Sprowston Rovers scored eight without reply at ten man PL Rangers. Substitute Ramsay Gashut came on to score a hat trick for Horsford SC, who with further goals by Cooper and Riches, beat The Gordon 5-0. despite goals by Robinson and Metcalf, Ribs of Beef went down 3-2 at Spixworth Sunday.

DCS Rapid moved level on points with leaders Stoke FC at the top of 3A after beating them 3-1. The Otter are third after a 3-2 win at Sporting Longdale and goals by Tubby and Thompson helped Upton to a 2-0 win at Newsman Celtic. Heartsease Casuals are fifth after a 2-1 win over Temple Bar as only four points seperate the top six teams. Bystanders (Bestway Taxis) are still looking for their first point of the season after going down 4-0 at home to The Reindeer. In 3B leaders Mischief had a comfortable 4-0 win over Aylsham Res whilst Sporting Farmhouse won 4-2 at Hethersett Res. Unicorns Res scored five without reply against Dynamo Denmark and Wilco Fast Fit had a good 2-1 win at Wymondham Res.

Its now eighty six goals in twelve games for 4A leaders Wellington Pin Uns as they hammered AFC Mousehold 12-4. The Dereham side have yet to drop a point and are five points clear of Sprowston Royal Oak who won 4-0 at Norwich Airport. Hockering leapfrogged Hellesdon Ath Res after beating them 6-2, whilst Dancing Farmers secretary Phil Gray's 100th game for the club, saw his side beat Sporting Longdale Res 4-0 with goals coming from Brazell 2, Spall and Blofield. The Brickmakers beat Earlham Colney 4-1 and Kings Arms thumped nine past Silver Fox Res, with Ian Babb helping himself to five. 4B leaders Maid Marian won 5-2 at Constitution and are a point ahead of AFC Oak who won 4-2 at Freethorpe. Heartsease FC had a 7-0 (Critchlow 3, Appleton, Daynes, Spencer and og) home win over Spixworth Sunday Res and Earlham Res won 4-0 at Hethersett "A". Hingham were involved in their second 5-5 draw of the season, this time with Salhouse Res, in a division where once again only four points seperate the top six. Felmingham moved up a few places after a 3-1 home win over Wendene Wanderers.

THE GROVE GO CLEAR

 The Grove went three points clear at the top of the Premier Division after a 3- 1 (Marco Feavyer 2, Lewis Greening) victory at AFC Wanderers. Behind them in second spot are Wymondham Rangers, who had a 5-3 home win over Marlborough. Poringland took a 3 goal lead at home to Norman Wanderers through Dale Simpson, Chris Reynolds and Scott Casey, but the visitors competed to the end with Daniel Barrowclough and Daniel Palmer pulling two goals back. Acle Rangers made the short trip to Salhouse Rovers and came back with a 5-1 victory

Norwich Busmen missed the chance to go back on top of 1A after a 5-3 defeat at North Walsham. Norwich Ceyms were held to a 3-3 draw by Windmill Wanderers, whilst Unthank Arms won 2-1 at Rose Valley Utd. 1B leaders Unicorns had a comfortable 8-2 victory at home to Hillside OB and second placed Norfolk CCSC scraped past bottom side Mattishall YCOB, winning by the odd goal in five. New boy Antoni Fawkes hit two as Aylsham Sunday continue to put pressure on the leaders after a 5-2 win against Prince of Denmark and goals by Gary Bee 2, Dan Nixon 2, and Scott Allen saw Earlham Utd score five without reply against Manor Park. Costessey Sports, with games in hand, continue to lurk menacingly behind the top five after winning 3-1 at Haig FC.

2A leaders Norman Wanderers “A” march on after a 5-1 win at Coachmakers Arms, whilst Green Man kept up the pressure, winning 3-1 at Spixworth Utd. Third placed Aslacton slipped to a 3-2 defeat at Deopham for whom Catchpole, Chalmers and Butler scored.. Goals by Adam Catchpole 2, Kevin Yaxley and Jimmy Cator helped Acle Wanderers recover from last week’s heavy defeat when beating Vale Longo 4-1. Aaron Roberts scored his first goal for Vale. Strikes by Edmonds, Ingham and Reeve helped The Griffen get back on the winning trail, beating The Castlegate 3-1.Plenty of goals in 2B where the top two, Old Catton (Cosgrove 2, Potter and Scotter)and Sprowston Rovers both scored four times when beating The Gordon and Spixworth Sunday respectively. St Faiths hit six without reply against Poringland Res and Horsford SC had a 9-3 victory at Thorpe Rovers.

Omar Lahfa 3, Lewis Clarry 2, and Ryan Hatch scored the goals that sent Stoke FC to the top of 3A as they beat Mad Moose 6-4. Second are Dereham Wanderers who scored six second half goals when beating Newsman Celtic 7-2. Ritchie Young 4, Craig Foster, Matthew Naylor and Karl Bush were on target for the home side. The Otter toppled previous leaders DCS Rapid, beating them 3-1, whilst Upton beat Bystanders by the only goal. Temple Bar went down 3-0 at home to Sporting Longdale whilst an amazing game saw Heartsease Casuals take a 4-0 (Joe Woodcock 3, Ross McGregor) half time lead at The Reindeer, only for the home side to storm back with five second half goals from substitute Chris Chamberlain 2, Nathan Savage 2, and Gary Collins to take the points. Mischief stay top of 3B after scoring five without reply at AFC Rompers, whilst Bayer FC scored six when beating Wymondham Res. Sporting Farmhouse won 3-0 (Bickerdike 2,and Plumstead) at Taverham Utd and Moles Rest had a good 8-3 victory at Wilco Fast Fit. Dynamo Denmark beat Hethersett Res 7-1 and the game between Aylsham Sunday Res (Tom Gardner 2) and Unicorns Res ended all square at 2-2.

There was another win for Wellington Pink Uns as they kept up the leagues only 100 per cent record with a 4-1 win at Silver Fox Res, whilst two goals by Liam Doyle and a cracker from Josh Halliday helped Sprowston Royal Oak to a 3-0 win over Brickmakers. Hellesdon Res had a good 5-1 win over Dancing Farmers and Hockering put eight past AFC Mousehold. Kings Arms had a 3-2 home win over Earlham Colney. Freethorpe are the new leaders of 4B after winning 5-3 at Spixworth Sunday Res. Maid Marian were held to a 2-2 draw by Hethersett “A” and AFC Oak also drew, 1-1 with Felmingham. Earlham Utd Res recorded a 4-1 win over Hingham, whilst Heartsease FC beat Salhouse Res 7-2. Constitution continued their recent good form, winning 5-3 at Wendene Wanderers.
