A goal from Dale Simpson ten minutes from time gave Poringland Wanderers a 1-0 victory over AFC Wanderers, in a tight game with few clear cut chances. This was enough to see Poringland top the division as previous leaders Wymondham Rangers were beaten 2-0 at home to The Grove. Silver Fox made it three from three as they beat Salhouse 2-0, whilst there was a great result for Quebec Rovers who won 3-1 at reigning champions Marlborough. Norman Wanderers got their first points on the board with a 2-0 win at Dog House.

Norwich Busmen carried on with their good start to the season in 1A beating North Walsham Town 4-0. Norwich Ceyms thumped Hainford YCOB 9-3, whilst Norman Wanderers Res won 3-1 at Rose Valley Utd. A nine goal thriller at Windmill Wanderers saw the visitors Hellesdon Athletic come away with a 5-4 victory. In 1B Earlham United are top after scoring eight without reply against Mattishall YCOB. previous leaders Unicorns went down heavily, 7-2 at home to Norfolk CCSC. Sprowston Wanderers had a good 4-1 win at Aylsham Sunday and prince of Denmark beat Hillside OB 5-2. a goal apiece saw Costessey Sports earn a point at Manor Park.

Aslacton are setting the pace in 2A. They had a good 2-0 win at The Griffen and are two points ahead of Vale Longo who beat Deopham 6-2. Green Man won 4-0 at The Castlegate and Norman Wanderers "A" made it a good day for the club when they won 2-0 at Plasterers Arms. Spixworth United came away from Coachmakers Arms, winning by the odd goal of nine, whilst Reepham Town won 2-1 at home to Acle Wanderers. In 2B Old Catton are top after a 4-0 win at Spixworth Sunday. Goals by Robinson (2), Spillane, Wright and Bennison helped Ribs of Beef to a 5-1 win over The Gordon whilst two goals for Chris Leveridge secured a 2-1 win for PL Rangers against Poringland Res. Sprowston Rovers beat Horsford SC 2-0 and St Faiths had a 5-2 win over Thorpe Rovers.

Dereham Wanderers are setting a strong pace in 3A after beating Heartsease Casuals 6-1. Goals for Brown and Thomson gave Upton a 2-0 win over Temple Bar, and Whitworth, Durrant and Wright all scored as Newsman Celtic beat Sporting Longdale 3-1. DCS rapid won 6-3 at Mad Moose Arms whilst the Stoke FC secretary praised both sides as his team beat Bystanders (Bestway Taxis) 2-0, thanks to goals from Cameron and Seager. The Reindeer had a narrow 1-0 win at The Otter. In 3B Sporting Farmhouse went top after a 5-2 home win over Wilco Fast Fit, whilst Mischief are second after winning 6-1 at Unicorns Res. Moles Rest suffered another defeat, this time 3-1 at Hethersett Res, whilst Wymondham Res had a good 4-2 win at Dynamo Denmark. Taverham United came back from Aylsham Res with all three points in a 2-0 victory.

A good game in 4A saw Wellington Pink Uns win 6-4 at Sprowston Royal Oak. Dancing Farmers good form continued as they won 7-1 at Norwich Airport whilst Hockering won 3-2 at The Brickmakers. Kings Arms scored three without reply when beating Sporting Longdale Res and Hellesdon Athletic Res were delighted with their 4-1 win over Silver Fox Res. Maid Marian top 4B after a 2-1 home win over Heartsease FC. Felmingham made the long trip to Hingham worthwhile, by winning 4-1 and Spixworth Sunday Res scored five without reply at Wendene Wanderers. AFC Oak had a good 3-0 win at Salhouse Res and there was a first victory for Constitution FC who won 4-1 at Hethersett "A"
