Riverside Rovers are now just one win away from their fourth successive title after a 4-1 (Jordan Rocastle 3, Lloyd Greening) home win over Farmhouse leaves them needing just three points from their remaining two games. Schoolhouse remained in second spot after beating Bungay Town 3-1, goals from Jack Robinson 2 and Rhys Logan, and are still in with a chance of a top two finish. That will depend though on the results of Acle Rangers. They are eleven points behind Schoolhouse but after today’s seven goal win over Trimingham Pilgrims have four games in hand. Poringland Wanderers gained their first league win since early November as they scored four (Chris Lay 3, Matty Cook) of the six goals in their game at Sprowston Wanderers.

its still very tight at the top of Div 1. a single goal at Windmill Wanderers was enough for leaders Phoenix to stay a point clear of Brooke who had an Owen Page hat trick and goals from Dan King and Sam Page to thank for their 5-1 win at fellow challengers Longdale Rovers. The Middle Green are very much in with a shout of the title after Daryl Puttock, Kierran Campbell and Sam Brookes scored in their 3-1 win over Norman Wanderers, whilst Aslacton recorded a good 4-1 victory at home to Hellesdon.

Game of the day was in Div 2 where leaders Woolpack ended the 100% record of home side Drayton Dazzlers by clocking up a 4-1 win. it now leaves Woolpack in pole position for now, but the two teams have still to meet again. Mischief dropped points in the battle for a top two finish as they were held to a 1-1 draw with Marlborough, whilst Briston reached double figures in their home win over Mettingham. Hethersett Athletic also collected an important three points after beating Barracks 3-2, goals coming from Joe Bickel, George Bunn and Adam Waters.

Div 3 will go down to the wire as the top two both won. Leaders Norman Wanderers A scored six (Reece May 4, Jason Fuller, Shane Empson) without reply at home to East Tuddenham, whilst DCS Rapid remain a point behind after a narrow 3-2 win over Hempnall. DCS have a game in hand. Brooke Res scored six of the ten goals in their game with Newsman Celtic, whilst MC Rovers scored six without reply at Harleston Town. Acle Rangers moved away from the foot of the table as they beat Dynamo, Ben Cooper 2, and Aaron Cooper scoring in a 3-1 victory.

FC Viking must wait to see if they are amongst the medals in Div 4 after completing their season with a 7-2 (Matt Billing 2, Craig Beeden 3, Ian Beeding, Jon Billing) win at Rackheath Rangers. They must now wait to see if Hethersett Ath Res win their final two games to decide the runners up spot. Eaton Park Corinthians also completed their season, taking a point in a 3-3 draw at Rose Athletic Res.

Easton returned to the top of Div 5 after hitting a bakers dozen that included a double hat trick for Devin Blundell against Qube. They are a point clear of Aylsham with one game to play, but the new Sunday Junior Cup holders still have three to play. The other game played in the division failed to produce a goal as Ashill and Watton United took a point each.

Scole United kept their title quest on course in the Under 19’s after an eight goal (Kieran Manning 3, Bradley Hunt 2, Henry Warner, Callum Boulter, og) win over Hethersett Ath. Old Catton finished the season with a 3-1 (James Bemrose 2, Joe Brett) defeat at Long Stratton who are still in with chance of at least a top two finish with their games in hand. St Andrews and Mulbarton deserve credit for switching their fixture as it was originally due to be played at Mulbarton. St Andrews won the game 3-2 and Kurt Bish, Will Dickinson and Tinashe Madzimur all scored as Hellesdon beat Cringleford 3-1
