DENMARK OUT TO DASH AFC DOUBLE HOPES
This Sunday sees the final game of the Norwich & District Sunday League season when Prince of Denmark meet AFC Wanderers at Wroxham FC, in the final of the Pink Un sponsored League Cup. It should be an entertaining affair. Denmark reached the final of the cup in 2005, under the name of William IV when they lost to Marlborough. A few of the squad on that day now appear in the AFC camp, as does Steve Simpson the current AFC manager who was joint manager with Paul Winter in 2005. After suffering relegation from the Premier Division this season, Denmark will be hoping to go down in style by winning the cup. AFC on the other hand will be looking to complete a league and cup double after winning Division 1A. This is their first appearance in the final. Kick off is at 10.30 am.
