Hethersett Athletic stayed top of the Premier on goal difference after a 3-1 win at home to Coltishall Sunday. Second placed Norman Wanderers also had a victory, 3-2 at Acle Rangers. At the other end Poringland Wanderers recovered from the loss of an early goal to beat Aylsham Sunday 5-1 whilst Prince of Denmark gained a valuable point in a 1-1 draw at Delaneys.
With leaders The Grove inactive, AFC Wanderers and Mattishall YCOB both took the chance of closing the gap at the top, Wanderers with a 4-1 win at Deopham and Mattishall won 7-1 at Norwich Busmen. In 1B second placed Sprowston Wanderers won 3-2 at St George and Taverham United moved into third by beating Saxlingham 3-0.
Aylsham Black Boys missed the chance to go top of 2A when they lost 1-0 at Norwich Union, whilst third placed Freemasons Arms also slipped up losing 4-2 at home to Gilson Bailey. Battle of the bottom two saw Aslacton win 2-0 at Mad Moose to lift them up the table. Champion Athletic are the new leaders in 2B after a 1-0 victory at Earlham United. Salhouse Rovers drop to second after being held to a 3-3 draw at home to Ketts Tavern. At the bottom Drayton AFC gained a welcome point in a 1-1 draw with Wymondham Rangers whilst Hethersett Ath Res scored 15 without reply against a luckless AFC Rompers.
Hellesdon Athletic increased their lead at the top of 3A after winning 5-2 at Maid Marian, but North Walsham Town could be the team to watch after beating Earlham Colney Res 7-5 they are now in fourth place and whilst being 21 points behind the leaders have six games in hand. Costessey Sports Sunday lead 3B. They beat bottom side Royal Oak 4-0 whist Horsford SC moved into second place after a 3-1 victory over Blofield Rangers, leapfrogging long time leaders Norwich CEYMS who lost 3-2 at Old Catton.
In 4A leaders Nelson were thumped 5-1 by Coltishall Colts who now trail the leaders by six points but have two games in hand. Sporting Longdale beat Reepham Town 3-0 whilst Elm Tavern went down 4-3 at home to The Mitre. New leaders at the top of 4B as Costessey Sunday Res beat Sprowston Rovers 3-1. Norfolk CCS move into third beating bottom side North Walsham Warriors 6-1 and Spixworth stay fourth after winning 5-0 at Freethorpe. Dynamo Denmark had a good 8-0 over Wymonham Rangers Res.
