Hethersett's title ambitions suffered a setback when they went down 5-1 to Norman Wanderers at Sloughbottom. Wanderers now head the table but only have one game remaining. Reigning champions Marlborough moved menacingly into second place, winning 2-1 at Coltishall Sunday. Delaneys moved into third, beating Eaton Beehive 3-0. Bottom side Prince of Denmark took the lead in a lively encounter at Poringland where the home side scored three times in two second half minutes after being reduced to ten men.Poringland ran out 5-3 winners.
The game between first and third in 1A ended in stalemate as both The Grove and Mattishall YCOB failed to find the net. Second placed AFC Wanderers missed a chance to close the gap at the top when they lost 2-1 at home to Norwich Busmen. At the other end Windmill Wanderers picked up another point in a 1-1 draw at Felthorpe whilst Earlham Colney lost1-0 at home to Angel Gardens. 1B leaders Rosary Rams warmed up for their league cup semi final with a comfortable 7-0 victory over St George, but second placed Sprowston Wanderers slipped up, losing 4-3 at home to Saxlingham. The bottom two both suffered defeats, Manor Park 5-3 against Hillside OB and Wilco Fast Fit 3-0 against Taverham United.
Game of the day in 2A was the basement battle between The Griffen and Aslacton which saw the visitors from South Norfolk come away with a 4-1 victory. Mad Moose lost 4-0 at Gilson Bailey, whilst at the top The Silver Fox moved four points clear of the inactive Aylsham Black Boys by beating Norman Wnderers Res 5-1. All change again at the top of 2B as Salhouse Rovers 7-1 victory at Hethersett Res saw them go above Champion Ath who could only draw 1-1 with Thorpe Rovers. Ex Mile Cross move up to third after beating Drayton 7-0.
Leaders of 3A Hellesdon Ath had a 3-1 victory over Earlham Colney Res whilst second placed Acle Wanderers surprisingly lost 3-2 at Mousehold. North Walsham Town are third after beating One Account 3-1. Temple Bar continued their recent good form beating Rackheath Green Man 1-0 whilst bottom club Upton went down 9-0 at Deopham Res. In 3B Costessey Sports stay top after a narrow 1-0 win over Aylsham Sunday Res. Old Catton are now fifth after beating Ribs Of Beef 3-0 whilst Dancing Farmers and Haig shared ten goals between them. St Faiths beat bottom side Royal Oak 6-0.
With 4A leaders Nelson inactive, Coltishall Colts took the chance to close the gap at the top by winning 6-1 at The Mitre. The Brickmakers stay third after beating Branford Arms 1-0. Mulbarton Wanderers beat Stoke 2-1 in a local derby and bottom side Owens pub gained a point, drawing 3-3 with Sporting Longdale. 4B leaders Costessey Sports Res moved further away at the top winning 6-0 at Freethorpe whilst Norfolk CCS are now second after beating Dynamo Denmark 1-0. The all North Norfolk clash at Felmingham saw the visitors Mundesley come away with a 4-3 victory whilst bottom side North Walsham Warriors lost 5-2 at Wymondham Rangers Res.
