The Semi Finals of the Pink 'Un sponsored League Cup took place this morning and both proved to be very close matches. Holders Marlborough have reached the final again after beating Division 1B leaders Rosary Rams 3-2 after extra time. Marlborough will meet Coltishall Sunday after they reached the final courtesey of a penalty shoot out at Acle Rangers. After the game finished 1-1 aet, Coltishall went through 4-2 on penalties.

Only two games were played in the Premier League, but they were important to the lower half of the table. Prince Of Denmark gained a priceless three points beating Aylsham Sunday 4-3, whilst Quebec Rovers won 1-0 at Poringland Wanderers.

In 1A AFC Wanderers took advantage of The Grove's free weekend to close the gap at the top after beating Hainford YCOB 5-0. A 2-1 victory at home to Felthorpe saw Mattishall YCOB stay in third place. Anglians poor run continued with a 1-0 defeat at home to Angel Gardens but Windmill Wanderers bid to avoid the drop was helped by a 2-1 win at home to Deopham. 1B saw only two games played, Taverham Utd beating Manor Park 6-3 and bottom side Wilco Fast Fit completed their season with a 4-0 defeat at Unicorns.

Aylsham Black Boys cut the gap at the top of 2A to just a point after an 8-0 win at Mad Moose and Farmhouse drew level on points with third placed Freemasons Arms after beating them 4-2. North Walsham O.B. beat Aslacton 1-0 in the divisions other game. In 2B Salhouse Rovers drew clear at the top after beating Earlham United 4-0 as Champion Ath only got a point in a 2-2 draw with Ketts Tavern. High scoring Ex Mile Cross stay third after winning 6-2 at Hethersett Res.

Top played bottom in 3A where Hellesdon Ath beat Upton 6-0 whilst second placed Acle Wanderers beat Earlham Colney 86 2-1. North Walsham Town stay third after beating Rackheath Green Man 4-0. In 3B leaders Costessey Sports beat Horsford SC 3-0. This meant Horsford were overtaken by Haigh FC. who moved up to second by beating Ribs Of Beef 5-3.

In 4A leaders Nelson returned to winning ways in style, beating bottom side Owens Pub 6-1 and after a poor recent run Stoke FC also got back to form beating Reepham Town 2-1. Costessey Sports Res stayed top of 4B after beating Dynamo Denmark 2-1 and Norfolk CCS remain second after beating Wymondham Res 4-1. Well done to North Walsham Warriors who gained their second victory of the season by beating Hethersett Ath A 3-2.
