ROCASTLE DOUBLE KEEPS CHAMPIONS ON TOP
A Jordan Rocastle double and a Jamie Atkins strike enabled reigning champions Riverside Rovers to stay at the top of the Premier Division courtesy of a 3-0 victory at Poringland Wanderers. Rovers dominated for much of the game and only an amazing save by home keeper Tommy Taylor prevented a fourth, although the Poringland were guilty of missing two guilt edge chances near the end of the game that would have reduced the arrears they can have no complaints. Apart from Rovers, two other teams have maximum points.
