The final game of the Evening News & Copy I.T. Norwich Sunday League takes place on Friday when Division 1A Champions Norman Wanderers will be looking to complete a League and Cup double against free scoring Premier Division side Schoolhouse FC at the FDC ko 7.30

Norman Wanderers started their journey to the final back in December when they recorded a 2-0 victory over Trimingham Pilgrims, whilst Schoolhouse defeated their first round opponents Salhouse Rovers, reaching double figures in the process. The second round again saw Wanderers progress with a 2-0 win, this time at Premier Division Farmhouse and Schoolhouse scored six without reply at home to Aslacton & Gt Moulton. Normans then faced a QF tie against Acle Rangers, who eventually finished as runners up in the Premier Division, and dramatically went through on penalties after the game had ended in a 3-3 draw. Schoolhouse reached the semi-finals by beating The Middle Green 7-3. The Semi Finals again saw drama for Normans as they scored a late winner in extra time to beat yet another premier side DE FC 3-2 whilst the Schoolhouse goal scoring machine saw them put eight past a gallant Vale Longo.

With Normans having beaten three Premier Division teams en route to the final and Schoolhouse having scored thirty one goals in the process, its all set up for what could prove to be a cracker of a game

North Walsham completed a very good season for the club this weekend when they took second spot in Division 2A after a 6-0 (Charlie Holmes 2, Luke Everson 2, Charlie Everson, Dan Gwynn) over FC Viking. That coupled with the County Intermediate Cup earlier means the season turned out very well for the North Norfolk side who now move into Senior Football.
