With it being County Cup weekend, there was a restricted League programme this weekend. In the Premier Division, Dussindale grabbed their first points of the season, and they did it style, thumping AFC Wanderers 5-1 with goals coming from Tom Cullabine 2, Simon Durrant 2 and Paul Durrant.

In 1A, there was an entertaining game as Norman Wanderers Res and Dancing Farmers shared eight goals, Luke Jeal 2, Aaron Saddleton and Nick Aston scoring for Farmers, whilst Lee Guyton scored all four for the home side, and in 1B Acle Rangers Res were 5-1(Andrew Spaxman, Geoff Handley 2, James Hammond, OG) winners over Spixworth Sunday Res.

2A leaders New Buckenham suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Shipdham Rangers. Nick Leavey and Gareth Hobley had put the leaders 2-1 ahead but two late goals from Jack Flynn added to an earlier one from Mark Alibone gave the home side the points, a result that sees Rangers move up to third spot. In 2B, Lakewood United’s 7-2 victory at Briston Wanderers moves them up into second spot.

With their nearest rivals in cup action, GaGa FC returned top the top of 3A after a 4-1 ( Sam Halsey, Dan Bowen, James Wheeler, Aaron Sodah) win at AFC Westlegate, whilst there was a good win for Westfield FC, 5-2 at Freethorpe FC. 3B leaders Phoenix FC made it six wins from six as they scored five (Jamie Smith 2, Larry Rouse,Josh Nash, Charlie Lamb) without reply at Felthorpe. Silver Fox thumped Cellar House 8-2, whilst East Tuddenham recorded their first league win as they beat Sporting Iceni

In the County Cups, the league had mixed success. St Faiths, Schoolhouse, Mad Moose, Vale Longo, Farmhouse, Aslacton and Acle Rangers all progressed to the third round of the Senior Cup whilst Sprowston Wanderers and Spixworth Sunday won their first round replayed matches.
