OVERNIGHT FROST CAUSES NEAR WIPE OUT

Heavy overnight frost almost obliterated the entire fixture schedule this weekend as most pitches suffered in the cold and only two games took place.

Both games that were played were on all weather surfaces. In the Premier Division, Schoolhouse increased their lead at the top as they hit eleven in their win over Horsford, whilst in the U19’s Old Catton also increased their lead at the top with a 4-2 victory over Acle Rangers.

With the League now having fortnights break for the festive season, may we take this opportunity to wish all clubs, officials, referees, supporters and all lovers of the grassroots game a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year
