WEATHER HITS FIXTURES

Not for the first time this season the weather took centre stage meaning only five games took place. No fixtures were played in the Prem or Div 1.  In Div 2, Marlborough took the long trip out to Briston and came away with a battering going down 8-0.  Vale Longo hosted Mad Moose.  Vale players were out earlier preparing the pitch for the game and after a small delay (no kit for the away side)

ROCASTLE FIRES ROVERS TOP AS SCHOOLHOUSE ROCKED

Another frosty morning greeted players again this weekend, but although a few games were casualties, common sense in delaying kick off times and just good luck played its part in getting many played. Morning leaders Schoolhouse were on the end of probably the most surprising result of the day as they went down 4-1 (Dan Childerhouse, Joe Easton, Ali Shearer 2) at home to Sprowston Wanderers. Their failure to take anything from the game allowed

With this in mind the League has contacted all club secretaries to advise that if they do not want a game on that day, they must contact fixture sec Bernie Hardiman or League sec Ben Casey by 7pm on Sunday Feb the 4th. Calling off after the cut off point will lead to league rules being enforced.  Most games

DELANEY TREBLE AS ROVERS CUT GAP

The weeks heavy rain saw a number of pitches waterlogged this weekend but it was still a decent program that took place. In the Premier Division, leaders Schoolhouse will be ruing the fact that they let a two goal slip when making the long trip to Trimingham Pilgrims as the hosts fought back to eventually earn a 3-3 draw. Riverside Rovers took advantage of the leaders slip to close the gap at the top as
