Rain Rain Go Away

Normally we like the football to do the talking but with 9 postponements and an unprecedented 8 abandoned games it was the weather shouting the loudest. It meant only 6 games were completed.

 

In the Prem Mischief and Middle Green played out a 1-1 draw, Oliver Hunt scoring for Mischief and Aslacton hosted Phoenix, drawing 2-2, Aslacton’s first point of the season, Josh Goodall and Shingi Masoha scoring for the away side.

 

Just 1 game took place in each of the other divisions. Vale Longo visited FC Viking and came away with a 2-1 win after spending most of the second half defending, moving them up to 3rd in the table. Fraser Reeves and Andy Adams scoring for Vale, with Dan Stobbart replying for Viking.

 

There were 10 goals in the game between East Tuddenham and Watton, with Watton running out 7-3 winners, taking them to the top of the table. East Tuddenham’s goals coming from Floyd Nundy 2 and Jack Green, with Dan Reeve 2, Darrell Wigger 2, Jack Abbot, Bryn Hughes and George Abbott scoring for Watton.

 

Moose Park Rangers now sit second in Div 3 after winning by the odd goal in 5 against Earsham and Marriott extended their lead to 4 point in Div 4 after taking the 3 points against Salhouse, winning 4-2, Joel Baldwin 2 and Ryan Wheeler 2 for Marriott and William Mitchel and Adam Rose for Salhouse scoring.
