WEATHER HITS FIXTURES

Not for the first time this season the weather took centre stage meaning only five games took place.

No fixtures were played in the Prem or Div 1.  In Div 2, Marlborough took the long trip out to Briston and came away with a battering going down 8-0.  Vale Longo hosted Mad Moose.  Vale players were out earlier preparing the pitch for the game and after a small delay (no kit for the away side) the game went ahead. Vale winning 3-1, with Andy Adams, Dru Brown and fine strike from centre back Jatinder Dhaliwal scoring for the home side.

The other three fixtures that went ahead were all in Div 3. The race for the title is a close one with top playing second, with Norman A playing Brooke Reserves.  A six goal thriller entailed with the teams sharing the goals. Ben Atkins 2 and Reece May scoring for Norman who were three down at one stage. That result means DCS Rapid take over at the top of the table after their 5-1 win against Bungay Town Reserves.  Dynamo kept a clean sheet and scored two of their own against Harleston U21.
